“There is nothing I dread so much as a division of the Republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader and converting measures in opposition to each other”. The “turbulent maneuvers” of factions , could “tie the hands and destroy the influence ” of every honest man with a desire to serve the public good. (1790)

Isn’t it time? How many people must die? Mr Jim Jefferies has a video that may be listed a comedy but his words should make every American think, Every politician realize what their lack of action has resulted in. His words should make everyone from media ask themselves, why are we not talking about this.
America must like to see people dying because we refuse to do anything about it, we allow corporations and lobbyist to allow people to be killed, so they can make money.
As Mr. Jefferies states, this is all bullshit America, and it must be stopped!
I have place a link to his video in the Links section of this site. But it appears the video has been blocked..
December 2015 Update, more months, more deaths.
For over 30 years now I have been plagued by a skin condition known as Psoriasis. There is no cure for this condition and it does require that I use a prescription drug to help with its treatment. I use four 60 ML bottles of this medication (Calcipotriene) every 90 days.
Over the past 5 years or so, my co-payment for this 90-day supply has gone from approximately $80 for the 90-day supply five years ago to current co-pays of anywhere from $600 to $1100 for the same medication for the same 90-day supply depending on where I purchase this solution.
This is compounded by recent changes in our companies offered health insurance that now makes me have a $5000 deductible! This of course means I have no Prescription Drug Insurance coverage! Many people will blame “ObamaCare” for this but I think it is more a case of corporate greed, and nothing to do with the AHC program of the President’s.
But back to my immediate problem of trying to reduce this repeating cost to me; I did talk to our companies insurance experts and they referred me to GoodRx.com. This on line device will find pharmacies in our area that will offer prescriptions at different prices. The result was very interesting for the Tualatin, Oregon area. GoodRx showed that six pharmacies in my area offer the solution at a variety of prices for the 90-day supply. The range of prices for this solution was from $550 at Rite-Aide to $1188 at Safeway (I’ll attach the print out below)! These costs were for not using any insurance and strictly my cost. My company requires us to use CVS/Caremark for 90-day supplies and using CVS my copay would be $770 for the 90-day supply. So it is cheaper for me not to use my insurance!

Are there any others left like him?
So many crazy things going on, and the country still sleeps, many of my posts of days gone by still apply, please reread them, please pass them along to others, please make comments to make The Rabbit know his efforts are useful.
The country is heading for a Retirement, Insurance Mess that will affect everyone, its not brought about by the President, its brought about by corporate greed.
Should The Rabbit keep sleeping or try once again to make a difference???????
As always The Rabbit has found it amazing how the words of the past apply to the present…….
“Ignorance is preferable to error; and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing, than he who believes what is a wrong” – Thomas Jefferson.
Guns, Killings, Wall Street games, News media that seems without the nerve to ask questions, but that all seems the norm..
The Rabbit is going into his hole……..
Senator John McCain has come up with not a bad idea regarding cable TV packages. I know I hate to have to pay for 20 channels and most of them are sport channels I do not want.
Senator McCain in his TV Consumer Freedom Act 2013 proposes to ban such packages and will allow cable subscribers to pick what they want to see and pay for! A great idea and long over due!
Time to write your elected officials and tell them to support this act. We need it!
